Hi, I am moving to a new house and want to move my BT telephone to the new place. BT is unable to find if there is a connection in the new place. I called up the peopel currently living in the place and got an answer that they have Virgin media broadband but not a landline. Does it mean that there is a BT line already present which needs to be activated or Virgin doesn't require BT lines?
    Please let me know.
    Thanks

Virgin can deliver their Broadband service over two media: cable and a telephone line. The former does not require a landline and the latter does. If it is the latter they may have a Virgin package which includes line rental.

You need to ask them more questions.
