When i was thinking about going for a Bryston, if my memory serves me correct, when you fill in that form on the link 'dog' gave you, i'm sure it links to PMC .

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for PMC to send you details of dealers. I ask for a list of dealers in Northern Ireland over a month ago and they still haven't sent any.

I emailed Bryston who responded within minutes, they spoke to the MD of PMC who was suppose to contact me. I ended up buying in England, which cost quite alot in carriage.

NicolasB has been very helpful in providing me with a list of dealers, so you could ask him:)

I bought my Bryston 9B ST three years ago and at that time Bryston didn't have a dealer in Scotland - I'm not sure if they do now.

I asked my dealer (HiFi Corner in Edinburgh) if they could try and get one and told them that PMC were the UK agents.

Because there wasn't an official Scottish dealer PMC were quite happy to supply HiFi Corner.

It was definitely a bonus having a local dealer because my 9B ST blew an internal fuse about a year ago and under the terms of the 20 year warranty no one except Bryston or their agent are allowed to fix it. I'm glad I didn't have to pay the carriage costs...

I have to say, I didn't have any trouble getting a list of Bryston dealers out of PMC, and I'm famous for p*ssing people off. :( Anyhow, looking at the list there are no Bryston dealers listed for Scotland, but there are four places listed as PMC dealers, so they probably wouldn't have any problems getting hold of Bryston kit on a one-off basis. These are:

Stereo Stereo, 260 St Vincent Street, Glasgow G2
Loud & Clear, 520 St Vincent Street, Glasgow G2
Loud & Clear, 26 Hamilton Place, Edinburgh EH3
Sounds Perfect, 26 St Andrews Street, Dundee, DD1

I dont think any of the local PMC dealers actually hold any Bryston models for dem.

I think both Stereo Stereo and Loud & Clear have done so in the past but at near £4k for the 9B they are both more likely to point you at other 'favored' options at this price point.

I'm sure either of these dealers would get in a unit for you - though getting one in for a dem may be more of a problem; give them a call.

    Best regards

    Joe
