    Hello

I am putting a cable entry/ brush faceplate in the living room to hide wires behind the wall going from tv to set top boxes etc, something like this:

What do people normally use in terms of a back box or trunking? Is there a specific back box used that has the top section open or do you just use a normal back back and cut the top part off yourself?

I also cant find any trunking or conduit to match the size of a double gang back box.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Adam

When I did this I used some big square trunking and then used a dremel to cut the back box to match. I then applied some rubber around the edge of the cut back box to prevent cables being cut when moving about.

    Good idea softening the edges!

Do you know what size the trunking was or where you got it? Can't seem to find anything that matches the size of a double gang backplate
