There is i believe some BD releases in Hong Kong, but with mixed results.
Playasia do them, Big Boss was meant to be fairly good, but others not so good.
Mind you, if memory serves me correctly, the same company had been accused of doing upconverts on BD for other chop socky movies
Real shame not had a good clean up, but the film industry over there has never been known for looking after prints or negs etc.
Maybe Dragon Dynasty in the US will get around to it soon, they have a few BD's due for release

i think thats it mainly, arent golden harvest are renowned for losing movies as well, didnt they lose a huge amount of Game of Death footage which only turned up in the mid 90's so god knows what condition the prints are kept in.... :(

That would apply to many movies in China as they don't have the resources to keep prints pristine as long as possible.

The Big Boss - Blu-ray Bruce Lee

Even worse is Police Story and One Upon a time in China.

Police Story

I've got thoses Fortune Star DVD's and they're a massive improvement over the HKL discs. I'll wait and see how the BD's come out before getting them. The Big Boss is region locked isn't it?
