To be perfectly honest, when I first saw it I thought, "Hmmm, that was a bit poo!". Since then, I've found myself wanting to watch it again.........now that my pre-expectations have been lowered!

I think the movie has a bit of a "cult" following

Anyway, I thought that it was pretty cheap, and couldn't resist! I do remember the sound being pretty good.

It's a very pretty film, but a bit dull (good 30mins too long). Fight scenes are good tho, very eclectic (and a bit too earnestly commercial, ending up in a weird mix of styles): some people loved it for this, so whatever floats your boat.

Plus it has Mark Dacascos in it: which is either a good or a bad thing (good if you like Channel 5 fodder with Jurgen Prochnow or Rutger Hauer in, bad if you like good acting).

I am a big Vincent Cassel fan tho (I even sat thru Guest House Paradiso) and have a collection to maintain.

So, i've been waiting for the R2 spec ed to come down in price, which it never has, so i shall be purchasing zis one.

    Nice spot:smashin:

    It is good, if long.

I received mine the other day from DvdSoon:

Is it just me, or is the transfer a bit grainy?

It certainly seems grainier than I remember the R2 looking.

    regards,
    anephric
