Someone posted a thread on this forum about a month ago (just after brothers in arms was released) saying that the PC version had loads of bugs and to wait for these to be remedied.

If this was true  , is it safe to buy now? (ie revised version available or a download?? and if a download then where can it be found?)

also, had a quick look on direct2drive (via a post on this forum) and it states that BIA can only be downloaded in US and Mexico?? Is there somewhere you can download from in UK?

I played it and it was really ok - no bugs - really good game too

I read some bugs were there. I think it depended on Athlon Processors and certain versions of graphic card software.

A patch came out recently that improved graphic performance

My system is P4 2.4 ghz with a radeon 9800 pro version 5.3 catalyst windows with no problems

i had a stupid bug that made the game unplayable. when i went into tactical view and then back again, the whole screen had rotated 90 degrees so my character was walking across the right hand side of the tv.. i suppose it would enable me to play the game while laying down but its not that convenient..

just installed this the other day. i had a quick go and seemed fine, spec in sig. i felt it was abit slow and prefered the opening to call of duty but will give it a proper hammer after my dissertation & final's are over. dam education getting in the way of gaming

I thought it was a good game but a bit short. I know it is based on
real life events but the game didn't last too long even when played on
    one of the harder settings.

The only bug I came across was the same as marc_angelus which made
shooting the enemy sideways quite interesting! :)
