    Hi all,

I was moving to my new home, and when i try to pack my Sony 1070 receiver, i foolishly broke the Master Volumne Button. Damn! I live in London and is there anyone can direct me to some where to get it fixed!

i went back to Sony Store, they said it will take around 4-5 weeks and charge £50. (It is a bit too much just for a button, isn't it?)

    Wat is actually broke ?

The Knob itself or the shaft that holds it on?

If the shaft im sure you would be able to get a replacement part from maplins.

Allthough 50 quid seems expensive its gonna cost that for anyone to open it up and fix it.

Unless your prepared to do it yourself?
