I've reported my broken Sky+ remote to Sky but they reckon it could take 28 days for a replacement to arrive. Is there any other way of deleting viewed programmes other than using a remote control? I don't really want to spend 15-25 quid on a replacement because i don't think i can waut 28 days
    Any help/advise would be appreciated.

don't worry, sky+ deletes the oldest viewed programmes when it needs space. I think the setting that affects this is "Disk space management" set to "Automatic"

    hope that helps.

Anthony, thanks for the help. I'd got Disk Space Management set to manual, so i've changed it to automatic and it seems to do the trick.....cheers.

How do you change the disk space management to automatic without a remote. Mine died and I should get the replacement this week but until then I have very little space available.

Oh and does anyone know how to watch Other Channels without the remote?

Buy one of the "One For All" remotes for about a tenner. These will control Sky boxes.

But will they work for SKy+ boxes? I have a GumBody all in one remote. Problem is where do I find the codes?
