    Hi Guys,

I'm looking for broken/faulty/scrap tech which has BGA chips on to practise BGA rework on with my IRDA rework machine. Things like motherboards, graphics cards, pci cards and ram modules. Anything that is laced with BGA chips (chips with no metal legs coming out the side)

Will collect or pay basic postage.

    Thanks,

    Mark.

    Hi Mike,

Sounds good, but not sure when I'll be going up/down the A3. I'll PM you when when I am and we can arrange pickup then. I hope that ok?

    Thanks,

    Mark.

Do you think you could try and reball a s1155 motherboard? the cpu pins are bent beyond repair but the mobo is specialised ( Alienware X51 itx board ) so really hard to find a replacement:(

No haven't done sockets before so wouldn't want to treat your mobo as a testbed... :(

A scrap laptop & desktop mobo and any graphics cards (anything with lots of bga chips on) - stick em in a box or just bubble wrap them and send them to me via collectplus with me covering the cost - would be fantastic!!! :)

If you are interested in a large bundle of bits that I want to clear out you can have them for a small amount. I have roughly (Toshiba satellite a60, two bases and motherboards from some gateway dual core laptops at least one has a working processor, mixed ram including ddr1, ddr2 both desktop and laptop, a number of other computer items including laptop dvd drives, wireless cards) I have a couple of older items too eg: amd duron motherboard, pentium 3 motherboard including processors. Just basically whatever I could find that would suit a pc kinda guy. Could do the whole lot for about £25 including postage if that interests you? I

I have two old Socket 478 boards if they are of any help, I think one of them works but it's pretty much worthless anyhow. Interested?

Thanks for the offer but possibly from pre-BGA days and most of the chips will still be pin/edge type.

Thanks for looking and the offer - stuff with onboard graphics & RAM/DRAM chips and graphics cards are ideal - need to practise a bit as I currently keep popping RAM chips :(

If you can send by collectplus then I'll take as much as you want to get rid of
