i have a small mp3 player that closely resembles a regular portable cd player. it belonged to a friend of mine but one day it ended up breaking for no reason, he gave it to me saying if i could fix it i could keep it. well, i tried but the problem isn't so obvious. i opened it and noticed a dislocated wire connecting the battery to the microchip(which i managed to re-attach by twisting the loose copper at the ends), i thought i had fixed the problem but it turns out i didnt, it still doesnt work ! i dont know what's wrong, i'm thinking along with the wire maybe a fuse blew? can anyone suggest what is wrong with it? it was bought for $300 back in the day and i'm not willing to throw it out. tell me what you want to see and i'll take a picture and post it.

:lease: help out guys, i'm not giving up on this thing, we had some good times with it.

Edit: i also forgot to mention its a 'LKM100 FreeStyle'.
