I was wondering if a sub-forum for Professional AV operators/users would be useful.
I work with broadcast editing, encoding and AV equipment and know that other people on here have some very in-depth knowledge (e.g. Stephen Neal), that could be great to tap into at certain times.
It could be a place to discuss broadcast equipment - VTRs, Convertors, Encoders and edit gear like AVID or FCP. Maybe help people out on jobs they are doing?
What do you think - too cliquey?
