    Afternoon all !

Currently with Sky for both TV and BB, and we are looking to change BB provider.

When we initially moved we chose Virgin as a complete package, couldn't get away with it, changed back to Sky.

The possible problem we have is that we have moved things around, and the original Virgin wall inlet / cable is now located at the opposite side of the room to where our router etc is kept.

So the question is, will Virgin need to use the pre-installed (new build) socket, or is there an alternative solution?

I have also considered TalkTalk or BT, but Virgin seems regarded as the better (faster) option?

Saying that, the other options could be less hassle, as they would simply switch from Sky to TalkTalk/BT.

    Any advice welcome.

As long as you don't go for a self install and you are getting a engineer , just tell them the old point is no good and show them where you want it installing .
