    Hi,

I am currently with Pipex and I'm paying £23.44 a month for my 512k broadband connection with unlimited downloads. I am thinking of migrating over to another provider that can offer me the same package but for less money, can anyone provide me with some recommendations?

I have looked at Freedom to Surf and Plusnet. The negatives are F2S do not allow outward migrations and Plusnet charge around £15 for inward migrations!

    Cheers,

    G

I moved house last month and so had to cancel my Pipex £23.44 broadband connection. I too decided to look and see if there was anything as good but cheaper. Didn't have any luck. I'm once again back with Pipex with free connection (lots of providers don't give this) and free usb modem + 2 filters. If you're happy with the service I'd advise staying put.

I don't really think it's worth changing from Pipex just to save a couple of quid a month, speeds are good, and apart from the hiccup last week, i've been connected 24/7 since March 2003! TBH the only savings to be made are if you're looking at the 1 and 2mb services.

It looks like the general opinion is that there isn't much point in changing over to save a few pounds.

Are Pipex likely to change the prices due to the recent BT announcement?

    Cheers,
