Over the last few days I've been considering switching from BT to o2. I got my MAC code today from BT and called up o2 only to find out that if I sign up to o2 it will interfere with my alarm system. I have an ADT alarm system which calls through to an ADT call centre if my alarm goes off and o2 tell me that if I signed up that feature wouldn't work and that very few ISPs offer broadband that is compatible with ADT alarms.
Can anyone suggest an ISP that works with an ADT alarm system? I'm paying £68 for 3 months with BT, I feel the service is poor, especially for the price, and looking to change.
