Just back after a brilliant day as guests of the Samsung Dienza team and spent the whole day in the paddock with Dean Thomas and Enzo, the team boss. Naturally I took the camera:

Nice action shots! The babes are quite cute too.

Dont like the look of that rear tyre much. I find my tyres look like that after a quick commute round the M25.

Looks like you had a great day. I'll have to get over there again - didn't go at all last year and Brands is so good to watch (and ride around!).

Out of interest, did you pan with IS on or off? Does the 24-105 have the dual mode IS?

IS was on as I was shooting all over the place all day - no panning mode. It did ok I thought.

Those are good, light's a bit flat but the panning technique is excellent. Well done

The girls and portraits maybe could do with a touch of fill flash, the lighting's a little harsh and angular, lots of shadows on faces. Nice natural expressions though, you obviously work well with the ladies

Couldn't agree more - always shoot with fill outdoors on that sort of day but deliberately left everything bar one camera and lens at home to avoid lugging it around all day. In the circumstances as good as they could be.
