The Oyster and The Pearl

UK company, Damson is showing a couple of new products out at CES in the shape of 'the Oyster' - the company’s latest and most ambitious
wireless speaker - and The Pearl billed as their 'most stylish and sophisticated Bluetooth wireless speaker yet'.

The Oyster uses a complex driver array and sophisticated digital signal processing (DSP) to create a wide sound. Two 2in front-facing 10W midrange drivers, two side-firing 1.5in tweeters and a rear passive radiator subwoofer combine to deliver the dynamics.

For maximum audio quality, the Oyster uses the Apt-x codec for A2DP Bluetooth streaming. The Oyster is still compact, measuring just 230 x 100 x 116mm and features a built-in Lithium Ion rechargeable battery they say will deliver 12 hours of continuous wireless music.

The price is £179.99

Additionally for the Pearl, Damson has added an extra, conventional speaker driver to deliver more musical drive and midrange clarity.
