For some reason Britannia have always had my postcode down incorrectly, however upon providing my mortgage account number they have found my details and helped me with my queries. Most recently I phoned and they would not help, they said they cannot help because I have not passed their security measures. They said I would have to write to them requesting the postcode is changed. Can one 'write an email'? well it seems to be a technological advancement over pen, paper and postal service. I wrote them an email, requested that the postcode is changed. They responded with They haven't explicitly mentioned it.. but I bet it turns out they want a letter sent to them - why can't they just print the sodding email out.
