    HELP!!

Bought this LG Plasma on 24th March this year.

After about 3 weeks I noticed a bright green pixel ....... it didn't show when a light colour or white was displayed.

Due to a mixture of holidays, laziness and the fact that I thought I would be laughed at by Currys I didn't do anything about it.

I think it may be called a 'HOT' Pixel??

Well, now it is burning REALLY brightly - flickering in fact - BRIGHT GREEN and it's really annoying ......... the position couldn't really be much worse as it is about 66% up and 66% across the screen!

I have contacted Currys who looked on their computer and they say they know what the problem is and I will have a new PCB fitted this week ....... good service, if it cures it.

BUT, this is where I have a question ...... will a PCB change fix a hot pixel??

I am guessing that the panel is faulty, not something to be cured by a new PCB??

I hope that it can be cured with a simple PCB change - whats your thoughts??

    Thanks in advance.
