Bridget Jones, different ending the UK cinema!

    I ordered Bridget Jones my other half.

    We watched it last night and whilst she had seen it before, it was my first time.

    She pointed out that the ending was different than when it was in the cinema.

    Saying the 'ending' isn't actually true.. When the credit were rolling, there should have been little clips of 'interviews' with BJs friends.

    On the R1 DVD, there is a select of clips of BJ as a child.

    What gives? Why on earth would they change this for the US release?

    Its not a major issue, but it makes me wonder, what else gets changed to make a 'British' film suitable for a US market.
