Bravia not recognizing 360

Standard Member
i have a Sony Bravia KDL-40XBR2 and it won't recognize my xbox at all.. i use a HDMI cable. it used to work fine but since i plugged the xbox into a samsung 32" it has not worked since.. (with the hdmi cable, works fine with the av cable)

. i have plugged the hdmi cable into both HDMI slots on the tv still no go.

. i have plugged a ps3 into the bravia using same HDMI and it worked fine

. i have plugged the xbox into a different tv with same HDMI cable works fine

. i have lowered it to 720p it didn't work

. using the Y RT trick it sort of works it, it turns it into low quality DVI but no sound..that or the screen gets filled with pink purple lines across the screen (with sound)

. i have reset the tv to default settings, still no go.

. i have plugged the xbox in using a AV cable it works fine..

what else is there to do???? its not the xbox.. its not the cable.. its not the TV.. what is it?!:confused::confused:
