BRAVIA HX 700+ PC connectivity

Today I received a SONY UWABR100 USB Wireless LAN Adaptor To connect my BRAVIA HX 700 LCD TV to the Internet. The home network is set up but just have a couple of questions.

Can you only watch PC content stored in the Windows media player library?

How do you search the net from the TV?
