Brand Snob Convert- Philips PFP5532D - Wow!

Well, I nervously took the plunge as I fancied a slightly larger screen than my existing Panasonic 37PD60, got the above telly and I am amazed.

I was really concerned that the Philips would not be up to the sublime SD picture on the Panny, especially with the bigger screen, but it is amazing.
Just really getting used to it - it has only been up on the wall a couple of hours, but it projects a really impressive Freeview image. One to consider, I would say. Got it from Empire Direct with a 3 yr warranty of a little under £600!
I will update the forum as the machine settles down, but my initial impression is very favorable (I am very fussy, as well).

Sounds like good deal and would make a wonderful monitor for my PC.

For the same money you can get 32inch LCDs but i'd rather have the Philips PFP5532D.
