Selling 1 unused still sealed Sonos Play 1 in Black.

This was a competition prize but I already have a Play 3, Soundbar and Sub and no spare rooms!!

As stated it is still sealed and I'm not really keen on opening it only for buyers to change their mind and me be stuck with a speaker I cannot then prove is new.

I can supply a pic of the box if needed but I'm hoping my feedback and tenure here proves I'm not about to send a brick in a box.

    Price and currency: £145
    Delivery: Delivery cost is included
Payment method: Cash, BT, PayPal or Gold Bars
    Location: Bristol
    Advertised elsewhere?: Advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I have no preference

    • Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct, too
    • Name and address including postcode
    • Valid e-mail address

Thanks for the offer, these are £169 new and whilst I'm willing to come down a little, £20 off the current asking (£15+5 postage) is way too much.

As to warranty, I'm not sure, I've never had to return an item but all my kit was just warrantied from the date I registered it against my Sonos user name.

No probs, was roughly basing my offer on the £300 twin pack offer as am toying with an additional one or two of these. Hopefully no offence caused. I will go to £135, if that helps.

Thanks for the offer. I'm away for a week from tomorrow so I'm going put this on hold for now.

I will be able to respond to offers but not dispatch before next weekend.

I'll go to £145 inc insured postage for now.

yep, still interested. Would you confirm, if you can, that there is a two year warranty with it? Also what delivery will you use?

    Thanks

I'm pretty certain the warranty starts from the day you register it to your Sonos account, but I have now way of confirming this and have no receipt as it was a price. I had a Bridge go faulty a few years and was never asked for proof of purchase.

As to postage, not sure yet, whatever is the most economical but that still offers suitable insurance and some tracking.

Thanks. Just wanted to confirm length of warranty on it. Reason I ask is an imported prodcut carries 1 year with a uk product being two years ( I think ) Stand corrected on that.

From the Sonos website it seems to infer 2yrs is standard, the only contradiction is that one of the exclusions is if the unit is used outside of the USA!!!!, so very confused now

    "
    Warranty coverage and exclusions
The Sonos limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in every Sonos product you purchase during the applicable warranty period, subject to certain exceptions. Sonos' warranty period is two year from the date we ship the applicable Sonos product to you, as determined by the date on the packing slip or invoice. The warranty period is not extended if we repair or replace a warranted product. Sonos may change the availability of limited warranties, at our discretion, but any changes we make will not be applied retroactively. For more detailed information related to the limited warranty, please refer to the license agreement in the supporting documentation that came with your product. Please note that we do not provide warranty coverage for:

Problems that result from external causes such as accident, abuse or misuse

Usage that is not in accordance with Sonos' product instructions

Products that are used outside of North America (i.e. U.S. and Canada)

Products with missing or altered serial numbers

Products which have had their housings opened or otherwise tampered with

Problems caused by using third party accessories, parts, or components

Sonos does not warrant that its products will operate without interruption or will be error-free, or that all errors may be corrected. Sonos' sole liability, and your sole remedy, for breach of the limited warranty will be repair or replacement of the applicable product, or, if neither of the foregoing are reasonably available, a refund of the amount you paid, less amounts attributed to your prior use.

Except as expressly set forth in the license agreement, Sonos makes no warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect to its products. Sonos and its suppliers hereby specifically disclaim all other express, statutory and implied warranties and conditions, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and the implied condition of satisfactory quality. Except as expressly stated in the license agreement, products are supplied on an "as is" basis without warranty. You assume all responsibilities for selection of a product to achieve your intended results, and for the installation and use of the product. Some jurisdictions do not allow a limitation on implied warranties, and so the foregoing disclaimer may not apply to you. In any event, any implied warranties that may exist under the laws of your jurisdiction are limited to the two (2) year period set forth in the limited warranty."
