Very different and yes the art style is quite special :)
I'll get it only if it's co-op to add to our co-op gaming now and again Lee :D

It certainly looks interesting. I've always liked platform games and hopefully this one will be a good one.

I'm assuming this is out by now. Quite like the concept and reviews are all great but 1200msp is quite steep for a live arcade game.

Anyone played it yet? Worth the price tag?

The price is steep but I may still give in. The only review I found so far from Eurogamer gave it a 10/10. Sounds very interesting and it's about time we had a decent 2D platformer, with a difference.

Yep, never even heard of it but 10/10 on eurogamer is very rare, bought some points.

I'm really looking forward to playing this, anything to stop my eyes bleeding from Geometry Wars 2

There are a few reviews to read though for Braid now http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/braid

Eurogamer is currently the only 10/10, but the others are all between 80-91/100 so far so certainly sounds like a great game.

I did read the IGN review last night and it sounds as though the main negative point is the game is apprently quite short(around 3 hours) and there isn't really much replay value.

Its quite a nice game, graphics are very nice. I can see that there wont be much replay value though. I wont be buying it, I probably would have at 800 but not at 1200.

Looks like a nice little game but there appears to be too much thinking for my liking. I could not even work out how to get through all the levels in the trial so I think the full game might be too much of a challenge

I was really looking forward to this game and I enjoyed the demo, but the above reason and the 1200 point price mean that I won't be getting this.

Like Lost Winds on the Wii then. ;) :D

It's a very quirky platformer like Lost Winds and short like it too. Both of them seem good games but too much money for the amount of actual gameplay.

So it seems he expects to not sell many copies, but not many copies at a higher price. :suicide:

Totally stuck on the level with the jigsaw on world 2, there is one final piece that I have not got a clue how to get above the exit door!

I had a shot last night and collected all the jigsaw pieces in World 2. It's a nice looking game, pretty clever with its use of the rewind button... I'm gonna hold off buying it for now though as I'm holding onto my points in case Galaga Legions turns out to be as amazing as it looks!

    Craigy, solution for you:
You know the platform that appears in the jigsaw puzzle? Move it so the platform piece is right next to the platform with the wee monster. The monster should then walk onto the jigsaw... when he does this move the jigsaw so the monster falls to the ground. When he walks over to the door, jump on his head and collect the final piece! Hope that makes sense!
    Hope that helps...

Despite the good/great reviews, I won't be getting this. Thought the game play and theme was nice but a bit pretentious.

TBH, I would have bought it at 800MP but I'm not paying 1200. I only paid a bit more than that for Burnout Paradise recently and I know it isn't a fair comparison but I want a lot of game when I'm paying over a tenner. Shame really.

I really like it, but again at 1200M$P I won't be getting it, considering both Lumines and Puzzle Quest both got price cuts at some point, I'm going to wait.

Judging by the comments here Jonathan Blow would make more money if he had priced it at 800MSP

Do you think its worth the 1200 price tag? I'm really interested and it has great reviews, but they all say it is really short and there is not much replay value. I really begrudge spending so much on a game like that, although I do have 4200 points spare...

Haha, I did that last night, first go I was like - impossible, then I thought some more and switched it back on later, got 5 pieces straight off almost.

It is a wonderful little game.

Must admit that it is a bit pricey at 1200 MP but if you like your puzzlers its well worth the investment. Currently about to start on World 4 after clearing the other two, but there were some nice little puzzles in there. Great how the puzzles can be created using such a simple concept.

    Great game design.

Depends on what you enjoy.. I really like the whole concept.. Just got to the levels where walking right moves time forward and left moves it backwards.. Such a simple concept, but works so well with this idea!
