We have lost our beautiful, gentle Field Spaniel Bradley. He was put to sleep to save him further suffering after having battled epilepsy for just over a year. He had the best care we could give him going to a specialist hospital in Chester but to no avail. Far too young to die we miss him terribly. I've put this image on as he was a real water baby and this is how we best remember him.

So sorry to hear of this 5 years is so short sorry for your loss,
Im sure he got all the love you could give him!
I know what your going through having but down my 3 year old boxer. (Heart Problems) What a lovely piccy of him to remind you of him regards PD

Having been in a similar situation recently I can fully understand your grief. No words I say can make it easier for you, only in time will your hurt heal. Best wishes, gus.

We are really sorry to hear about your loss.

When you posted this fantastic picture in the Dog Pics thread I spent some time looking at the other Bradley photos you took. I have just revisited them.

A wonderful and contented animal. You can "see" his placid nature and how he would be a true friend. I have never owned a dog because of circumstances but seeing an image like that. . .well it brings a smile to my face. . .in time I hope the smiles return for you. . .

Sorry to hear about your dog. I went through something similar with a four year old dog last year so I can imagine how you must be feeling right now.

Trying to focus on the fact he is no longer suffering is the best thing to help come to terms with it.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I have not had a dog as a pet ( i'm a fish keeper) but can understand your loss.

That is a very nice picture. I hope you get over your loss.

Ayub.

Got to be honest with you but reading your thread this morning & seeing a picture of Bradley brought a tear to my eye, couldn't speak for a few minutes either.
I still miss my retriever who had to be put down 17 years ago! he was a big part of our family & he was my best mate.

We have a Lancashire heeler now (daughters dog really) who is a lovely dog & although he can be a pain at times we all love him to bits.

Sorry for your loss, he couldn't have asked for better owners.
