Box for Parasound 2205?

Hi,

I am just about to buy a S/H Parasound 2205 amplifier, but it doesn't come with a box.
I am having trouble sourcing a new one, CSE have told me that to get one from the US could work out about £100 as they can't ship it flat packed.
Would anyone have any idea where I could get one.
The amp's dimensions are 19"W x 7"H x 18"D.
I would like it fairly heavy duty, as I may ship the amp back to CSE to check its working properly.
thanks
Lance

Thank you for the very kind offer to lend me your box, but I really wanted one to store the amp in for a few months while I get my home cinema room set up as well as possibly send back to CSE for checking.
If it's not too much trouble could you give me the dimensions of the box, so I know what size to look for rather than estimating.
thanks very much

The box external size is 27cm deep, and then 65cm x 61cm. I don't mind you using it, cross my palm with gold :)

Thanks very much for the size details, and thanks again for your offer. :)
I may be able to get one from Parasound after all, I have contacted them direct and they are going to price one up for me.
I have also found a UK company that will make boxes to size on request.
regards

If your going to ship the unit around and also want to keep it in storage do a Google for flight case manufacturers in your area - these guys often have relatively low cost polycarbonate 'universal' cases that don't cost the earth.

Yeah I would agree with Joe, it is not the box that is anything special but the way the foam keeps the amp floating inside the box so if dropped it won't damage it.
