Bowers & Wilkins P5 problem!!!

    I need help please, I have a B&W P5 headphones but now i cant hear anything, im on a trip so i left the other cable at home but, has any of you had this problem? I unplugged and plugged everything over and over and nothing, no sound no nothing not even a.... something! Is the cable the problem or the headphones? I have this for a month and i cant believe tgey are not working anymore, can anyone help me?

    If you open the earcups - remove the pads, can you switch the left and right cable into the earcups? That way you can determine if it's the cable or the drivers. If you still don't hear anything it may be the cable, before it splits to go to the drivers. Did you verify that the music player is working?

    Thx for answering.
    I already tried everything, i tried with music, games, plugged in the headphones to my ipod and nothing, I droped the headphone before the no sound thing but I dont think somehing like that ruined my 1 month headphones.

    It's extremely unlikely that dropping it would kill both drivers. More likely it's a connection somewhere. We have replaced cables on our P5 three times in one year.

    You would have to go to the bowers-wilkins website and contact them. They are VERY picky about these cables, like Bose is, and I think it has something to do with people trying to put Apple cables on a headphone that was originally issued with a non-Apple cable. I still have my receipts for cable replacement, but they don't have any useful information. Good luck.

    Is the black sheet cable ate least more resistant than the original?

    At least b&w replaces their poor cables under warranty
