Is there a market for old, faulty but good quality (in their day) speakers?
I’ve owned these vintage B&W speakers (Teak finish) from new bought sometime in the 1970's currently wall-mounted in my living room but unused for years.
The last time I tried playing something through them the sound was distorted. When I took off the removable front grilles to check I noticed the bass unit cones were rubbing when gently pushed so a buyer would need to take the cost of replacing these into the equation.
They are completely unmarked and I've probably got the original B&W floor stands in the loft.
Any idea what sort of price I should pitch them at?
