Ive just noticed that a line travels across from top to bottom. Its very weak but I didnt pay 600 kniker for that.

The model is a Sumsung 32ws64v. The retail price is 750 but i got mine for 600 cos it was the last in the stock.

Ive also noticed that the picture isnt that better to the beko 21 inch i was using before. Any ideas or comments?

I do have 28 days left beofre i return it according to Dixons..

    Is this a 50hz set or a 100hz one?
If its a 100 Hz one try turning off all the imaage trickery and seeing if it occurs.
Also does it happen on the av channels.
I know this can happen if theres alot of other electronic equipment plugged in and can create 'noise' which will cause a feint barr to travel along the bottom to top of the set. This happen in Uni to the monitors there.

Ah i think i found the one

[IMG] or this ones from dixons the others from another site[IMG]

As its a 50Hz set i recommend removing all the other equipment first and making sure theres nothing that can interfere.
Then plug them back in one by one.
Let us know if it works

okay ive connected Sky to the scart scoket and pluggin that in and the thats the only thing ive got installed.

Do you reccomed I install sky via the RF arial? which i add makes the picture worse!

btw tis a 50hz telly. It was between this one and a nice 32" LG model.

hi, LAZY plug the scart lead from the sky into the scart connection on the tv which says RGB then on the sky system setup select picture settings and change video output to RGB, this should improve the picture. (remember this is also the best input for your DVD player, hence the need for a scart splitter or keep swapping scart leads:mad: )

Yikes this has made a massive difference to the picure. Thx Cyrus.

Tho i do still see a very very feint line trveling up and down the screen. Nothing major but what could it be? I only have sky pluggin into the telly nothing else.

    Thx again.

The feint line travelling up and down the screen is porbably due to either:
    1. Intereference coming though the socket you t.v. is plugged into.
    2. Theres something close by that is outputing a stong intereferece signal of some sort.

Try moving the set out of the room its currently in and trying a different room, possibly with some sort of socket filter.
and yes the best picture you'll get is with the scart on the RGB socket on the tele and with it set to RGB and 16:9 on the sky menu.
