Bought a new 360, help please

I bought a new 360 today, and it updated with NXE etc etc
but I cant find the option to turn off automatic game downloads

Now everytime I sign in its downloading a load of crap I dont want.

Where is the setting to turn this off please?!?!?!?

what crap is it downloading?
games/demos/patches?
as the NXE removed the Auto downloads..
if you mean everytime you put a game in it downloads a patch,then that would be due to you replacing the 360/hard drive,and you can choose not to, its just you cant switch it off, unless you are signed out, game patches will still be offered.

Its downloaded game demos. NXE removed auto down-loads? Because my 360 is bran-spanking new but it had demos for frogger and some other arcade games that I defintely didnt download.

The hard drive comes with pre-installed content including some game demos and videos. Maybe that is what you're referring to.
