I have set the Monoliths crossover to 120Hz and the Receivers crossover to 80Hz and my floor standing main speakers to small.
The subs volume is to match my mains, this was done at 75db.
Now the harder one to set is the phase which I have left at 0 deg, can anyone recommend a track to set the phase?

Have I set the Monolith up correctly so far?

    Here's another pic

I don't think the phase matters unless you have two subs. Leave it at zero is the usual advice.

    Don't fancy the ornaments' chances much...PJ ;)

Looking good Tim. PJ is right, by all means have a play with the phase adjustment but any change will be very subtle since you only have one unit.

The gain and crossover controls are far more important for your situation. :)

That has to be one of the most serious looking reflex ports around! :smashin:

You could keep your pyjamas in there! :D

One day archeologists will open up a Monolith and trace the history of the early 21st century entirely from the things kids have put in there.

the phase can make a tremedous difference. Just try twiddling it when listening.

As Janice Litman would say "Oh.... my.... God!"

I just moved the Monolith away from the window, it was creating bad vibrations with the glass, its now opposite the window and is much more controlled... tighter :)
But there is only 45mm clearance between the grill and a cupboard, it doesn't seem to have effected it to much :D
I guess it can still breathe.

Chaptor 3 on Attack of the clones has some serious base with the ship fly overs and then the same ship exploding
