Both Iphone 4 phones gone wrong at same time or network issue?

I have 2 contracts on 3, for these I bought 2 iphone 4's and all has been well for almost a year, today though both phones now present no service, I checked with 3 and the network is ok, the mother in law's 3 phone is ok 2 miles away. I dont think both would go faulty at the same time? on one of them I got a signal (albeit weak) for 10 mins earlier but thats it.

anyone have any ideas?

How weird, I am experiencing serious issues with Vodafone too. I can now no longer get a signal in my home, and elsewhere the signal strength has decreased significantly.

It can't be the phone in my case as I do get signal sometimes. I will be calling VF tomorrow to find out what is going on.

Sounds like a cell tower is out in your area, and 3 are not yet aware of it. if you go to the mother in laws does your phone now work there.

Forgot about this thread, sorry guys. Turns out it must have been a signal thing in the area, an hour or so later all was fine again, it was odd considering 3 said all was fine.
