    Hi,

I am in the market for some 5.1 speakers for my lounge very similar to the
Bose double cube style. I dont have the budget for bose prices so I wondered if anyone knew of any products similar in desgin ?

There are a ton of options, and to be honest most are better than Bose for less money. Take a look around and take your pick:

    • Monitor Audio Radius
    • Monitor Audio Apex
    • Orbs
    • B&W M1 range
    • Kef 2005 or 3005 range
    • Camberidge Audio Minx

Those are a few ideas of the top of my head.

Thanks for the quick reply, some of those are great speakers.

I am however looking for the stlye of the bose speakers with the double
sqaures that sit on top of each other, very much the style of the
    Acoustimass 15 speakers.

Does any one do similar ones to the double sqaure bose ones ?

The only speaker that looks very similar to the bose cubes are the cambridge audio minx min20 speaker, it is a double cube. I own a pair of these used with the x300 subwoofer the sound quality is clear crisp and powerful and the subwoofer is amazing considering it's size.

Whats with the obsession with the dual cubes? Please dont say you want to pretend you have a Bose system, just for bragging rights*

*I use the terms very loosely.

I don't have an obsession with dual cubes the question asked was speakers that looked like the bose, the cambridge audios do look a little similar to them.

Believe me when i say that i have had many speakers from alot of different
manufacturers from floorstanders, to standmounts and only got the cambridge audios due to space and me downsizing... if it wasn't for that reason i would have kept my monitor audio speakers i sold.

If your reply wasn't intended for me then i apologise in advance.
