Bose Panaray alternative for kitchen speakers

Looking to install a Nuvo multi sound system. In the kitchen I will put 2 ceiling speakers and around the table (there is a vaulted ceiling) i need surface mounted. The AV guy who gave me a quote suggested something aesthetically pleasing like a Bose Panaray 302. Ive seen these in pubs and they do look good although a bit expensive. Can anyone recommend anything else - up to £200. Im after half decent base but can really put a sub in.


Also the AV guy suggested Mordant Short ceiling speakers either a 6 or 8" driver.
Any other's i should consider?
