I have a pair of Mission 700 that i run through a Technics su600 amp (both getting on for 10 years old - maybe more). I have just got an ipod and wanted to know if it would be better to put it through my system or the Bose Sounddock. I would also like to hear any recomendations of amps/speakers that match or improve my current set up and would bring me a bit more up to date (I am interested to find out about small speakers with a big sound).
Thanks for reading and i welcome any comments or help you can offer.

Yeah, don't ever but BOSE!,I would keep the Technics not a bad little amp ,but I would change the dreadful Missions, look at the B&W 601 or 602 which are rather large though.

Thanks for your quick replys and welcome. I suppose if I was considering the Bose sounddock my budget would be about £250. I have not really thought about home cinema would it be poossible using my su600 amp. I have heard good things about the wharfdale diamonds 9.1, would these be a suitable choice to use with my amp and give me good sound from my ipod. Thanks for your advice and help so far.

would be fine why not take your AMP and IPOD to a local dealer and demo 3-4 pairs of speakers in your price range

The Bose Sounddock has got alot of good reviews for partnering with the IPOD

Can't you find somewhere where they give you a 30 day money back option - like QVC for example - so you could try it first
