The Music Centre’s built-in LCD screen is designed to give you instant on-screen identification and status of your selected audio source from almost anywhere around your home, including outdoors. The PERSONAL® Music Centre II also gives you control and visual display of any music you’ve got stored on your LIFESTYLE® 48 or 38 system in the main room.

For the LIFESTYLE® 28 series II or LIFESTYLE 18 series II DVD home entertainment systems (without the uMusic system), Bose offers the RC18s expansion remote control.

The RoomMate speaker system is also compatible with the BOSE link AL8 homewide wireless audio link, which eliminates room-to-room wiring as it replaces the connection cable between your LIFESTYLE® media centre in the main room and the RoomMate speaker system in a secondary room.

Other features of interest include a touch-panel mute sensor on the front of the system; the facility to connect a local audio or video source, such as a TV, via an auxiliary input; shielded transducers to prevent interference with TV or computer screens, and prevent accidental erasing of storage media; active electronic equalisation to balance low, mid and high frequency outputs; and Bose’s patented signal processing to ‘maintain audio accuracy for increased realism and consistency of sound’.

The LIFESTYLE® RoomMate® powered speaker system is available in graphite from October 2005. It measures 16.89 cm high by 30.26 cm wide and 9.66 cm deep, and weighs 5 kg.
