I am interested to use HK DPR 2005 in my home theater.....but need some advice on the speaker selection. Currently I am thinking about Bose Cube speakers (3 front and 2 rear). But I have not heard any feedback regarding using Bose cube speakers along with HK DPR 2005, if anyone of you have experiences like this, please let me know...thanks a lot...

    Prepare for the backlash!

Most people on here HATE Bose,I have a set and think they are ok'ish, but compare different sets.Have you thought about the canton cd1.kef eggs, celestion 305,jml ,mordaunt premiere etc, etc, etc.

I am currently looking at getting rid of my am15 set by the way!

Thanks a lot...this is very informative..
I was looking at Canton speakers for my home theater.
How about Movie 6.1-MX (http://www.canton.de/www/index.php4?pg_id=16,30,movie6.1-mx,2,en)? I would place 2 mini's in the front and 3 in the back.
For the living room, I would add two InCeiling 70's. Please let me know your thoughts since it is almost the time to put the drywall on and I want to complete the prewiring before that...thanks a lot...

quite a few dealers have them............ Canton are excellent but with a DPR 2005 you should be looking much higher end.... AG DUE fronts and A'Diva rears....

Thanks a bunch. I like them and went to the dealer today and tested Micro and Due with TR1 but they didn't have A'Diva there. I do have prewiring in place like front left, front center, front right and rear left and rear right. I plan to put A'Dvia for both front and rear left and right, and put a Due for front center (central channel). Would this work well together? What type subwoofer would you recommend, TR1, TR2 or MPS150 or MPC-1? I am curious to find that out...thanks a lot...

Equally telling is that most of those people have never heard them and simply jump on the bandwagon:)

For the record I have heard them - wasn't overly impressed - very weightless with little in the way of detail and dynamics, but it depends on your priorities: Bose fulfills a market, though if you know what you're looking for there's plenty out there which is just as good (if not better) for less money.

BTW, just today, I got to talk to a guy who runs a couple of AV retail shops. He mentioned KEF (www.kef.com) and Sonance (www.sonance.com).
I was about to get 5 AG A'Diva's and some Nucleus Micro's but these choices are very much changing my decisions now...:)

What do you guys think if you have used or heard of them? Meanwhile, what type of wiring/cable provides great quality? thanks..
