Hi
I am looking to try and reuse the AM5 series IV that I have that came with a lifestyle 5 system. I want to use this as the front speakers connected to a Pioneer 1019AVh. The AM5 has a 5 pin DIN at one end and 2 RCA's and a 3.5MM jack at the other. Can I connect these up? and how?

Thanks

John

What impedance are the speakers? If they are under 4 ohms then I would not use them with an AV reciever as you risk damaging it due to the higher load they will put on it. Also the small speakers need the sub unit to produce even mid bass sounds so you would need to connect them via this module to get any sound close to acceptable. Personnally I would sell the Bose set as a complete unit (many people on ebay will pay good money for Bose stuff) and get a proper set of AV speakers. These will not only sound better but will be easier to install etc.
