Hi - I have a Bose Acoustimass 20 system which I picked up from eBay, and want to play an i-pod through it - using an Onkyo docking station - and no joy ! The docking station could be faulty, but it works with the non-amplified Bose speaker systems. Anyone else had problems with this, do Bose powered speakers only work with other Bose kit ? I tried playing the i-pod through a MF X-Pre, with a different dock, I can get sound, but I get almost a microphone echo every time the lead or the amp are touched - any suggestions ?

    :lease:

OK - I'll look into that - so in principle there should not be a problem for Bose active sub/speaker systems to work with any other equipment ?
