    Hi
Have to confess straightaway that I'm no Bose fan, either in terms of sound quality or marketing/holier than thou attitude. However, every so often I pop into my local Bose dealer just for a laugh because he pushes absolutely nothing else for discrete home cinema use.

What I can't get my head round is this Acoustimas thing which, according to the dealer, isn't a sub-woofer and can accurately position sounds in any part of the listening area. I'm on a steep learning curve on subs but isn't the Acoustimas a sub by any other name? Or am I missing something?

I believe, someone correct me if i'm wrong, the Acoustimas is marketed by bose as a sub but strictly speaking it can't be called a sub-woofer because the cone is too small.

    Something like that anyway.
