How do I turn my AM10 (Passive old style white) into a 6.1 system? I want to mount all speakers from the ceiling so was not considering the Bose center speaker. Got to be seamless, and 'invisible'... any ideas?

Buy AM 15 mate you can connect a bose cube without the base unit. Also consider adding AM 5 pack to make up to 7.1 with 2 base units

Just wondering if you could use a single cube direct to the amp - obviously no bass but would it make much difference as the rear centre?

it will pop in seconds mate best option is AM3/5 in dual mono or upgrade to AM15s or use VCS-10 as centre front and move a cube to the rear.

Thanks for that... I think you've allowed me to avoid a Home Cinema DIY Disaster! - Any advice on a slimline receiver and DVD to accompany my AM10? I was thinking of the Pioneer VSX-c501 plus a 575A (Wife friendly stuff) Currently accompanied by a Yam RXV-795 and Philips Q50 but got to get something that looks nice as well (Hence the Am10's!... oh, and in white!)
