This weekend I have been mostly watching... "Analyse This" and "Random Hearts".

Both commentaries were a bit boring and I was disappointed by the AT one. I mean having Billy "King of improv" Crystal and Bob De Niro. What a spectrum. Unfortunately they didn't record it together so no "chemistry". Long gaps and full of "this actor is so wonderful". What a shame.

As for RH - well Sidney Pollack was okay but again a bit boring. Also guilty of "this actor..."

If they could try and get the principle actors together or the Director and Cinematographer or whoever at least there would be some good interaction and more gossip going on.

Any other contenders for "Duff commentary track of the year, 2000"?

    Cheers

The winner has to be George P. Cosmatos commentary in Cobra.

"There is a bird on the lamp-post", "There is a supermarket", "Here is
    a motor-cycle.....the motor-cycle stops".
