Booting Windows Home Server from Usb on Microserver

Is this possible?

Even more relevant for me is that I boot unraid from a USB. Would it be possible to have both os on the same USB stick?

I'm tempted to move away from unraid altogether but would like to keep it in case I don't get on with WHS.

Which version of Home Server?

As far as I know both of them have a minimum hard drive size and while that can be circumvented you would still need at least a 60GB usb stick to run windows and then it would run very very slowly.

Sounds like this won't be an option for me. I don't have a 60gb stick.

If I put the os on my main drive I'm guessing it can't be raided. Looks like I'll have to invest in a separate drive.

Windows itself can't boot from a USB drive (well, Windows 8 can in the form of Windows-to-go) so it wouldn't have been possible anyway.

I've simply got an old 2.5" 40gb PS3 HDD sat in the ODD bay for me OS install and use the main HDD bays for my media - which you could very easily RAID up.
