    Hi,

After thoroughly reading up on YDL install I've decided to take the plunge into installation tonight.

I read with interest that once installed, the default boot item is YDL.

If I prefer the XMB to be the first OS displayed, how do I configure the PS3 to boot in this order?

If this is possible, how do you then close XMB and launch YDL?

I'm a Linux virgin, but IT savvy. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Cheers,
    Pete

You choose the default in the xmb under the system menu. Once selected the ps3 always boots into the default. If you choose otheros it will always boot to linux until you issue a command in linux to boot back to xmb. YDL has a menu option to boot back to xmb.
