I am considering replacing my mission bookshelf speakers with a pair or eltax symphony 9 speakers as the front main R/L. Would this give me a better more powerful sound. I am running a Yamaha 750 surround amp in 5:1 to power this system and although the current mission set up sounds good I alredy have a set of eltax floorstanders and would like to utilise these. The main concern is that i have the missions wall mounted and they look realy smart with all the cables concealed within the wall. I dont really want to start messing around again with filler and paint.
Also if i was to use the large floorstanders how far from the screen should i position them? :lease:

Why not try the eltax speakers with your setup.
