I used to be able to do it on my old Sony, but on my new Toshiba XS34, I can't find how to store a bookmark.

Does anyone know how to do this?

    Cheers

Sorry, not sure what you mean by bookmark.
I checked the manual for the new Sony (510/710/910) to see if it mentioned this, but it doesn't either.
Can you explain what this is?

It's a mark of where you got to in a film... so that when you take the disk out and put it back in you can jump straight to where you got up to.

Ahh... "resume play". With a DVD, the XS32 remembers if you stop the disc, but not if you take the disc out.

For any of the recordings on the HDD, it remembers the stop point for all of them.

    Mark,

Thanks for this, I was thinking along the lines of being able to store the last point and taking the disc out. Any ideas?

Just an idea I havn't tried out though I might when I get home from work.
If you have the disk in question logged in the library might it then remember it's position. Just a shot in the dark really and I must admit I never use this function.

I don't think it can do this "resume play", at least not for -R/-RW. Possibly with RAM the library function might, but this probably doesn't help you.
