I watched DAD last week. It's pretty awful, up there with World Is Not Enough and Tomorrow Never Dies.

I concur. I though DAD was going to be one of the best Brosnan Bond films when it started and he got put in jail, and I did enjoy the sword fight.
But soon as he got to the Ice Palace. :thumbsdow

Saw it at the cinema - nowhere near the best Bond as empire put it - but I'm afraid I'm a bit of a Bondaholic and as long as they keep pumping 'em out, I'll keep watching 'em. Must admit though, didn't like the CGI and the theme has to be the worst since The Man with Golden Gun....

DAD was starting off to be a cracker of a bond film but i agree that when the ice palace crap started it really lost me,as for the title music by madonna, that is without a doubt the worst bit of miss use of a movie song,it just sounds like its from a different sort of movie, crap,oh and the end bit where bond has the helicopter parked on a clif and they are in a hut, that was filmed about 5 mile from my house, watched them set the scene and all that.

I really liked Die Another Day, that said I can't stand some of the old Bond films that I used to love watching.

Fav. Bond has to be Moonraker, just because it includes, IMHO, the best lines in the series.

    For example ...

Hugo Drax: "Take good care of Mr. Bond. See that some harm comes to him. ... "

and who can forget the immortal ...

Frederick Gray: "My God, what is Bond doing?!!!!"

    Q: "I think he's attempting re-entry, sir!! ..."

    Top stuff :smashin:
