Bold, Arial or something better?

    What's your choice of washing powder? We used to use the above until we discoved a much cheaper way:

    Mix equal parts of Fairy Liquid and white vinegar. Pour into the ice cube tray and freeze.

    When you do a wash put 2 -3 blocks in the tray. You could put the liquid straight in depending on the type of tray you have.

    No residual smell and clothes come out lovely. For best effect dry them outside on a line

    I should have said to try it on something not-too-expensive first. We haven't put anything other than t shirts, socks, pants & the like in yet.....

    I thought Fairy had a high salt content ? One of the reasons not to wash your car with it.
