Has anyone tried bathroom scales for measuring body fat?
There's a few for sale at argos
What are you trying to suggest about the members here?
mine seem to work well, they were from Argos.
Results are always within 1% of what I get from the '3D Laser' Scanner down at the Gym, which I reckon cost a bit more than my bathroom scales..
more than good enough for a general guide, or to keep-check on diet progress etc..
I find a mirror and a stop watch to see how long the love handle wobble goes on to be most cost effective.
A Simpsons fan ?!
Which one did you get?
I'm not at home just now, I'll have to let you know tomorrow..
If this helps at all, they were the better of two near identical models, about £60, and are Silver in colour with triangular plates you stand on...
I got a free one from the Special K packet. It's not brilliant though, every time I use it it says I'm fatter.
Thats quite an impresive job by the Special K sales guys...
Give you some 'free' scales, which then tell you you're getting steadily fatter, and therefore should eat more of their wonderful slimming product.
Watchmaker - I have the Tanita BF-664... they're £49.99 now.
i bought some about 3 months ago, off the web, they were about £30 their great - i'm 23.2% fat (normal )
i'll post what they when i get home.
