Came across this earlier today. The DVD is free its the p&p that costs $7:75.

    BMW 'The Driver' DVD

"Brace yourself for a new season of intricate plot twists, riveting car chases, and a dose of wit. The Hire, a series of short films created by Hollywood’s finest talent, is available here for downloading and streaming.

These brilliantly produced films star Clive Owen as the driver. Hired for his superb driving skills and unshakable poise, the driver encounters unexpected obstacles that put his abilities to the test."

I thought the short films were excellent and Clive Owen could make a great next James Bond

At the least another ad for the start of those 'Home Premiers' you lucky lucky PJ owners

It's free, apart from the £5 you have to pay for postage. The award for most dubious use of the word "free" goes to BMW. I thank you :D

Still not too bad, the films themselves are supposed to be good, wouldn't mind the first season as well. Their press office never did send me my freebie!

4-6 weeks delivery for $7.79 is awful. Still ordered it though

Does the DVD have both series on? It says "7 films", being 4 from the first series and 3 from the second? Or am I being stupid?

I read there were 8 films on the DVD.

I think the collectors series must include the old ones.
I was lucky to order 2 when the first series was free and got both delivered, but I can't find where the HELL I put them.

I was only prompted recently to look for them when someone on Ebay recently one for £25 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there is 8 films on the DVD that would mean they have put back on the formerly deleted Wong Kar-Wai film 'The Follow', which was the reason the original DVD's with this on were selling so well on e-bay.

I ordered it after seeing this thread yesterday afternoon, then 5th gear last night had a car chase special and had some clips of the John Woo one (with the Z4), the Ang Lee one (which just looks like cars doing ballet or something) and the Guy Ritchie one (which looks interesting).

    Looks pretty impressive.

    Cant wait.

yeh, I got mine too after about a week.

    High definition ??
Well It looks a very sharp picture to me, but then again I do have the Sony 905 !!

Very good in their own right as 'very short films' (if you can call them films), and I will say very collectable in the future - If their numbers are limited.
